Intel Smooth Sync technology prevents any visual artifacts or screen tearing from occurring and helps reduce input lag. This technology utilizes dithering filters to reduce blur when using Intel® ARC Graphics.

Intel’s Smooth Sync technology works by enabling v-sync (vertical synchronization). Which will keep the framerate of the game locked to the refresh rate of the monitor.

This helps minimize latency and prevents any visual artefacts. Such as screen tearing or stuttering which occurs due to the differences in framerate and refresh rate.

Additionally, Intel’s Smooth Sync technology has adaptive-sync capabilities. This allows it to adjust to changes in the refresh rate automatically. It provides a more consistent experience even when the framerate changes.

In addition to its performance benefits, the new Intel Smooth Sync feature also has several other advantages. For example, it supports Linux graphics drivers, making it easy to use with any operating system.

It also has a smooth sync test which can be used to make sure your system is running properly. Intel ARC A380 enables smooth sync without artifacts and flickering when using smooth sync with Intel® ARC Graphics.

How Does Intel Smooth Sync Work?

Intel’s Smooth Sync technology is a powerful new feature for gamers and graphics professionals. It helps to reduce screen tearing and flickering when using Intel® arc alchemist graphics.

The technology works by synchronizing the refresh rate of your monitor with the output of your GPUs. This synchronization prevents screen tearing and flickering, resulting in smoother gameplay and visuals.

Intel has developed its version of V-Sync, called Intel Smooth Sync support. This technology is based on a series of advanced algorithms. These algorithms ensure that your monitor’s refresh rate stays in sync with the output of your graphics card.

This helps to prevent any artifacts or flickering when using Intel ARC graphics. Additionally, Intel has developed a special dithering filter. It helps to reduce any colour banding issues.

5 Benefits Of Intel Smooth Sync Technology? How It Eliminates Screen Tearing Issues?

Intel’s Smooth Sync Technology is a powerful graphics solution. This solution offers a range of advantages over traditional solutions. It can help you get the most out of your computer by delivering improved visuals and smoother performance.

Here are 5 key benefits of smooth sync for windows support:

V-Sync Support:

This technology supports without adaptive-sync or v-sync active. Which allows for an improved gaming experience.

With v-sync enabled, the game frame rate will be synchronized with the monitor’s refresh rate.

It will eliminate screen tearing and other artifacts.

NVIDIA Adaptive Sync:

Linux patch confirms that smooth sync also supports NVIDIA’s adaptive sync technology. This helps to prevent flickering when using smooth sync. Which is especially beneficial when playing games with intense motion.

Intel Arc Graphics:

Smooth Sync also works with Intel Arc A380 and Linux Graphics Drivers. This means that you can use smooth sync even if your system doesn’t have dedicated hardware support.

Improved Visuals:

Using Smooth Sync with arc graphics drivers results in better visual quality. It is due to dithering filters and other image processing techniques.

No Flickering When Using Smooth Sync:

Smooth Sync reduces flickering when used with compatible Intel® graphics drivers. To ensure compatibility, users should run the Intel® Smooth Sync Test on their systems before enabling it.

Overall, Intel’s Smooth Sync technology provides several powerful benefits for gamers, and content creators. As well as anyone else looking for improved visuals and smoother performance.

With its v-sync support, NVIDIA adaptive sync, and Intel® ARC Graphics support, Smooth Sync delivers a superior user experience. It eliminates screen tearing, artifacts, and flickering when used with compatible graphics drivers.

How To Enable Intel Smooth Sync?

Intel’s Smooth Sync technology is designed to help reduce screen tearing and flickering when using Intel® ARC graphics.

To enable Intel Smooth Sync technology, you need to ensure that the correct Intel graphics drivers are installed on your system. As well as activate V-Sync or VESA Adaptive Sync support.

To begin with, you’ll need to download and install the latest version of the Intel graphics driver for your specific device from the Intel Download Center

Once this is complete, open your Intel Graphics Command Center and navigate to the Display Settings section. From here, you can enable adaptive-sync or v-sync support, depending on what your monitor supports.

After this, you can enable Intel Smooth Sync Support by toggling the setting in the Control Panel or the Advanced Settings section in the Intel Graphics Command Center.

You may want to use a smooth sync test to check if everything has been configured correctly.

If your system has Intel Arc A380 graphics, you may also need to enable a dithering filter to reduce artifacts and flickering when using smooth sync.

To do this, simply click on the Filter Mode drop-down menu in the Display Settings section of the Intel Graphics Command Center and select either Low or High.
