Rope Locations in Sons of the Forest
In Sons of The Forest, mutant camps, beaches, crash sites, caves, and bunkers are the best locations to find the rope. Be warned, if you visit mutant camps, keep yourself ready for a bloody battle. Check out the illustration below if you want to know where to go in order to buy ropes, though:
On the Sons of The Forest map, this location is on the western side. You must enter this cave and go inside all the way till you come to a cluster of skulls. Simply grab the rope in the corner, gather the rest of the supplies, and leave the cave.
In addition to the site previously indicated, you can also locate the ropes in various containers scattered across the forest. These boxes—also referred to as Reagent containers—come in a variety of sizes and configurations. You can find a rope in some of these loot boxes if you simply open them.
Keep in mind not to get confused with Zipline ropes. Unlike normal rope, which is simply rounded up, these ropes are folded into an 8-shaped knot. For the Rope gun, the Zipline ropes are the only appropriate materials.
